Periodic Table Prints with Jennifer Schmitt

Jennifer Schmitt with the Periodic Table of Printmaking

Jennifer Schmitt with the Periodic Table of Printmaking, on display in Elemental Matters.

Jennifer Schmitt, curator of the Periodic Table Printmaking Project, taught visitors how to carve and ink their own linoleum block prints.

The Periodic Table Printmaking Project, currently on display as part of the exhibit Elemental Matters in CHF's Hach Gallery, features the work of 97 printmakers, each showing their visual interpretation of the elements. These 118 prints were created in a variety of media: woodcut, linocut, monotype, etching, lithograph, and silkscreen.
