Lather up! Visitors learned about the soapmaking process—how it’s done today, and how it used to be made—and made their own bars of soap to take home. Scents, colors, exfoliants, and even glitter were available for guests to customize their creations.

Tom Twardowski led the demonstrations and explained the chemistry behind soapmaking, including an explanation of how lye was originally obtained from ash.
